Kundali PDF Sample: The Complete Kundali, Page by Page

Quick answer

This kundali PDF sample is a complete report for a made-up person, so you can see exactly what you would get. It has North and South Indian charts, a one-page summary, every planet and house, current dashas and clearly qualified doshas, in plain English. The real report is part of the USD 29 bundle.

A kundali, also called a kundli, janam patri, jathakam, jathagam or jatakam, is a chart of the sky at your moment and place of birth. Plenty of sites will draw one for free, and so do we. What is harder to judge before paying is what a paid report actually says, so here is a whole one. The sample is for Priya Sharma, who does not exist, born 12 March 1992 at 07:40 in Hyderabad.

Key takeaways

  • The whole PDF is free to open, with no email address needed.
  • The person is made up, and every page is marked SAMPLE.
  • Readings are built from the chart's own houses, lords and dashas, not from a Moon sign alone.
  • Remedies appear only for what a chart actually shows, and all are optional.
  • Long tables sit in an appendix, so the main chapters stay readable.

What does the Complete Kundali look like?

These are real pages from the sample, marked SAMPLE because the person is made up. The full report runs to about 22 pages. Tap a page to open the whole PDF.

What is inside the Complete Kundali?

Your chart in one page

A summary written from the chart itself: the lagna and where its lord sits, the Moon and birth star, the current dasha period, where the chart has support and where it asks for more care, and the result of each dosha check with what it rests on.

Birth details and charts

The exact details used, including the time zone rule in force that day, so that you can check them. Then the D1 birth chart and the D9 navamsa chart, each drawn in both North and South Indian styles, with a legend.

Lagna, Moon and birth star

What tradition associates with your rising sign, Moon sign, nakshatra and pada, tied to where those planets actually sit in your chart.

Houses and planets

All twelve houses in one table, then a reading of each planet in its house, with what that planet rules in your particular chart.

Yogas and doshas

A short list of yogas with their exact tests, then Manglik, Kaal Sarp, Sade Sati and Pitra. Each says which of the three Manglik counts triggered, lists every Saturn entry and exit, and says whether the rule is widely followed, varies by family or is disputed.

Dashas and periods to watch

Your current mahadasha and antardasha with real dates, a life timeline, and the coming sub-periods, each with what its lord does in your chart. Marriage and work periods say why each one is listed, and never name a date when something will happen.

Method and technical appendix

The conventions used, then the full tables for anyone who wants to check dates or take them to an astrologer.

It is made automatically after payment from the birth details you enter, by the same code that made this sample. Nothing is written by hand, so the same details always give the same calculations.

Who is the Complete Kundali for?

It suits you if

  • You want your chart explained without learning the terms first
  • You want one document to keep, print or take to a family pandit
  • You have a birth time, even an estimated one

It may not suit you if

  • You only need your rashi or nakshatra, which the free tools give you
  • You do not know the birth time at all, as the reports need one
  • You want a promise about the future, which no report here makes

How is this sample made, and can you trust the numbers?

This sample comes from the same report code as a paid order, with one difference: the SAMPLE marks. The person is made up, so we can show every page. Positions use the Lahiri ayanamsha, the standard of the Indian government's calendar committee, with the mean node for Rahu and Ketu, whole-sign houses and the time zone rules of the birth date and place. We checked planet and lagna positions against Swiss Ephemeris. Where traditions differ, the report says which convention it uses, and our kundali calculators page lists them all. The positions are astronomy. What they mean comes from a cultural and religious tradition, which is not a proven way to predict events, and the report never presents it as one. If you want to check a chart before paying, the free birth chart uses the same calculations.

What do these terms mean?

Kundali
A chart of the sky at your moment and place of birth. Also kundli, janam patri, jathakam, jathagam or jatakam.
Lagna
The sign rising in the east when you were born. Every house is counted from it, and it changes about every two hours.
Rashi
Your Moon sign, which is what most Indian families mean by your sign.
Nakshatra and pada
Your birth star, one of 27 divisions of the sky, and which of its four quarters the Moon was in.
Navamsa (D9)
A chart that divides each sign into nine parts, read alongside the birth chart, especially for marriage.
Mahadasha and antardasha
The long planetary period you are in, and the shorter sub-period inside it.
Dosha
A named pattern in a chart that tradition treats with care. Some are widely followed, and some are disputed.
Lahiri ayanamsha
The standard way of converting positions to the Vedic zodiac, used by the Indian government's calendar committee.

Frequently asked questions

Can I read the whole kundali PDF sample for free?

Yes. The full sample opens as a normal PDF, with no email address and no account. It is the same report a paying customer receives, made by the same code, for a made-up person named Priya Sharma. Every page is marked SAMPLE so that it cannot be mistaken for a real person's report, and the marks do not cover the text.

Is this a real person's kundali?

No. Priya Sharma is made up, and we chose her birth details ourselves. We never publish customer reports or customer birth details. The charts and dates in the sample are really calculated from those made-up details, so they are correct for a person born at that time and place, and you can check them against any other site.

Will my kundali report be this long?

About the same, usually a little over twenty pages. The length depends on your chart, because remedies appear only for what your chart shows, and a chart with more to explain runs longer. We do not add pages to make a report look bigger. A child's report is shorter, because several chapters are left out at that age.

How is this different from a free kundali online?

A free kundali gives you the facts, and ours does too. This report adds what most people ask an astrologer for: what tradition reads in those facts for your own chart, in plain English, with the reasoning shown. It also gives you a document to keep. If you only want the positions, the free birth chart is enough.

Does the report predict my future?

No. It sets out what the tradition of Jyotish associates with your chart, and it says so throughout. The planetary positions are real astronomy, but what they mean is a cultural and religious tradition, and not a proven way to predict events. Please do not base medical, legal or financial decisions on it.

What if I do not know my exact birth time?

If you have an estimate, you can use it and tick the box to say so. The report then checks what would change either side of that time, and warns you if your lagna or navamsa would move. Without any time at all, the paid reports are not available, because so much depends on the lagna. The free tools still work.
